Scantron Practice - Language Arts

Today, everyone will work on 3 practice tests for Scantron (Grammar, Vocabulary and Reading).  I've saved these in your network folder.  Please remember to do the following:

·                  Use the highlighter tool to mark your answer
·                  Raise your hand if you don't understand a question -- THIS IS PRACTICE
·                  Click Save and close when you finish your test then open the next test

IF YOU HAVE FINISHED (AND PRINTED) BOTH OF YOUR OCEAN POEMS -- ACROSTIC AND DIAMANTE, please begin by spending the first 15 minutes on:
HTS Typing Club
Username: last name followed by first initial
Password: htstype

Then, login to Spelling City and type your weekly spelling words.  The name of your spelling list should be today's date: 4-28-14.  Begin playing spelling games.

Acrostic Poems - Ocean Animals

Today, everyone will work on an acrostic poem using the name of their ocean animal.  We will use Powerpoint to create the acrostic poem.  Each letter of the acrostic, must contain a FACT about your ocean animal.  When you are finished typing all of your facts, you may insert images and clip art.  Everyone must use a white background, as the color ink is getting low.  Below is an example of an acrostic poem done by a student in 3rd grade last year.
