Print Friendly Letter & Create Book Flyers

If you haven't printed your Friendly Letter, you must FIRST click on the link below and Open the letter you started.

Type A Friendly Letter

Everyone will type a friendly letter today.  Your letter will be address to me (Mrs. Miller).  You have a choice of two topics:
  1. Tell me at least 1 reason why it is important to conserve water and 1 thing you could do to conserve water.
Or,
  1. Tell me which states and/or countries you have travelled to.
You must include the following in your letter:
  1. Your first name and your last name - DON'T FORGET TO CAPITALIZE
  2. Your address - as much as you know (street, city, state, etc.) - DON'T FORGET TO CAPITALIZE
  3. Today's date - Capitalize!!
  4. At least 2 sentences in the body of your letter
  5. Choose a border

Welcome to the Computer Lab!

Hello 3rd Grade!
Today is your first Language Arts/Technology integration class this school year.  We will work on projects and computer games that are related to the topics you are covering in your Language Arts class with Mrs. DeFoor and Ms. Bridgeland.

Today, we will be working on an ipad project, creating a cover for your Language Arts folder.  You will use the Pic Collage app.  You must include the following:
  1. 4 adjectives that describe you
  2. Type and complete this sentence: “My favorite thing to do is ____________”
  3. Title example: Luke’s LA Folder
  4. Insert images of your favorite things including: sports, animals, pets, books, authors, musicians, vacation places, hobbies, colors, foods, etc. No more than 2 images of any one category (for example, no more than 2 images of sports, no more than 2 images of pets, etc.) You must have at least 4 images on your collage.
