Adapted Mind (Math Practice)

Everyone will login to Adapted Mind and take the pre-test.  Each student has their own username and password which you will need to begin the pre-test.  After the pre-test, you will practice some of the math lessons on AdaptedMind.com.

BEFORE Technology class on Wednesday, everyone must select a book they have read and enjoyed.  You will need the correct spelling of the book title and the author.  Everyone will create a Read This! flyer.  See example below:

Practice Computer Login & Spelling City

First, everyone will login to the computer with their username and password as follows:

Username: last name followed by first initial (winsorj)
Password: reader3
Username Exceptions
cgeilish
jenkinsma
jonesme

Then, everyone will open Google Chrome and the 3rd Grade Tech Blog and save it as a Favorite.

During the remainder of class, students will practice this week's spelling words using Spelling City. You must login to Spelling City with your username and password:
Username: last name followed by first initial followed by hts (grayahts)
Password: titans

Click on 3rd Grade Lists and choose either List 1 or List 2 from this week.

Language Arts Binder Covers with Pic Collage

Welcome to 3rd Grade Technology!  I am very excited about working with all of you on technology projects that are related to your Language Arts class.  Today, everyone will begin working on creating a cover for their Language Arts binder.  Your cover must include the following:

1. The title will be: Your Name’s L.A. Binder (for example: John's L.A. Binder) 
2. Decorate your collage with images of your favorite things including:  sports, animals, pets, books, authors, musicians, vacation places, hobbies, colors, foods, etc. No more than 2 images of any one category (for example, not more than 2 images of sports).
3. Type 3 adjectives that describe you.  
4. Type the name of 1 or 2 hobbies or activities you enjoy.
