Read-Aloud and Video

Today, we will be using the iPads to video each other while reading a short passage.  Everyone will have a partner and each pair will have an iPad.  Before beginning the video, you must practice reading the passage aloud to your partner two times.  It is important to use expression when you are reading aloud to a group – this makes the reading more interesting for your audience.  After you are finished taping each other, we will watch the videos on the smartboard (during our next Technology class).  You can decide whether or not you want me to play your video for the class.  The goal for this project is to help you improve your read-aloud skills by watching and listening to your presentation.
