Where in the World was Mrs. Morell??

Last week, I had the opportunity to travel to West Africa for a bit of an adventure.  Can anyone figure out where I was?

Money Games

Today, we will play a series of games to practice our money counting skills.

Please play all five of these games (including all levels of the games).  When you are finished, I would like you to practice keyboarding for the remainder of class.

Enjoy!

Vocabulary for the Keeping Quilt and Grandma's Records

Hello Third Graders,

This afternoon, during the combined Language Arts/Computer block, we'll spend some time exploring websites dedicated to the vocabulary for The Keeping Quilt and Grandma's Records .  Please be sure to play the eWord games, on the Houghton Mifflin Reading site, and play the Quia games below.  When you are finished with that, you may either make a choice to do Type to Learn or Ticket to Read for the remainder of class.  The Ticket to Read link is below:

Let's have fun with simple machines

Monday afternoon during technology class, we'll explore simple machines using the games on Edheads.com.

You will go on a hunt for 10 simple machines in a garage, a kitchen, a bedroom, and a tool shed.

If you complete the hunt, we'll have time to do a worksheet that ties into the online activity.

Happy hunting,

Mrs. Morell
