Halloween Poetry

Create the following poems in this order:

1. Diamante poem (use the Read Write Think template)



2. Acrostic poem (use the Read Write Think template or use PowerPoint if you want something colorful)




3. Word Cloud using Tagxedo (choose a Halloween shape)



If you already created an Acrostic poem in class on Monday, you should create a Word Cloud.  If you already created the Word Cloud on Monday, you should create the Acrostic poem.

- Save your document in your own drive
- Change the slide layout
- Insert the text box

Common Nouns & Proper Nouns - Columbus Day Theme

Today, everyone will login to their computer using their own username and password:

Username:  your last name followed by your first initial
Password:  reader3

Everyone will open their own network folder.  You will use this folder to save all of the work you do on the computer at HTS.

Open the document called "3rd grade nouns template".  This is a Comic Life document.  I will show you how to add text to this document.  Please brainstorm as many common nouns and proper nouns related to Columbus Day as you can.
